Getafe vs Levante preview - Garcia - Levante are very dangerous

New Getafe manager Luis Garcia will come up against a number of familiar faces this weekend when Levante travel to the Coliseum Alfonso Perez.

Garcia led Levante on a remarkable run during the second half of last season to guide them to safety and he knows what to expect of his old side.

"They are a very dangerous team from dead balls, especially with players like Jose Barkero who has one of the best deliveries," he said.

"Every free-kick, every corner is dangerous."

Garcia will be unable to get too close to the action, though, as he is banned from the touchline due to a suspension carried over from last season, but he is more concerned with the injuries and suspensions affecting his squad than watching on from the stands.

"We have only 18 players available and that includes two from the youth team," he said.

"We aren't in the best moment to start a season but these things happen in football. The key is to get a good result.

"There won't be any problems with my suspension. I was sent off in the Mestalla (against Valencia) last season and I have a two-game ban but this is my second and everything will be fine."

New-signing and former Spanish international Dani Guiza will however be available to lead the line.

As well as losing Garcia, Levante also lost their top-scorer from last season Felipe Caicedo to Lokomotiv Moscow.

However, manager Juan Martinez believes new signing Arouna Kone can replace the Ecuadorian.

"We are delighted because the chairman has done a great job and we want him to demonstrate his full potential here because Levante needs a lot from him," he said.

Martinez also has injury concerns with Rafa Jorda and Juanfran Garcia major doubts and Francisco Farinos, Asier Del Horno out.
