MEXICO CITY (AP)—Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez will spearhead Mexico’s attack in upcoming friendlies against Chile and Poland.
Hernandez missed Mexico’s last friendly against the United States this month after a concussion, but was included in the 23-man squad chosen by coach Jose Manuel De La Torre on Wednesday.
Mexico plays Poland on Sept. 2 in Warsaw and faces Chile two days later in Barcelona.
Hernandez is one of nine players currently playing with foreign clubs who are named in the squad.
