Bayern’s Olic out up to 8 weeks with new injury

MUNICH (AP)—Bayern Munich says Croatia striker Ivica Olic will be out of action for six to eight weeks with a hip injury.
Olic was hurt in Saturday’s 5-0 win against Hamburger SV after coming on as a substitute. He scored the final goal in what was one of his first matches after being sidelined for nine months due to a knee injury.
Olic said Sunday that “this is a disaster. I was so pleased finally to be able to play again. But that’s how professional sport is.”
