Agent: Inter target Ezequiel Lavezzi is happy staying at Napoli

The agent of Napoli's Ezequiel Lavezzi has confirmed that his client is happy at Napoli, and there are no plans for him to move to another side.

The player's representative, Alejandro Mazzoni, was speaking to Radio Marte and has said that Lavezzi is content to stay with the team. He went on to say that the club has received no offers for the attacker and should any come in; it is for the club to deal with them.

However Mazzoni did admit that should the player's 31 million euro buy-out clause be met, he could move on, but this fee is thought to be a major deterrent to any possible suitors of the Argentine.

"I can again confirm that Lavezzi is happy in Naples and there is nothing to report on right now," Mazzoni explained to the radio station. "Only if someone makes him an offer would we need to talk to the club about it.

"Anything can happen with regards to his contract. That clause could even be taken out, it all depends on Napoli. If president Aurelio De Laurentiis wants to talk to the player, he can do so whenever he wants."

Lavezzi has become strongly linked with a transfer to Inter Milan in recent weeks. With Samuel Eto'o possibly on the verge of leaving the Coppa Italia holders, they are said to have identified Lavezzi as an option to replace the Cameroon international.
