Marseille tell Arsenal midfield target not for sale this summer

Arsenal target Mathieu Valbuena will not be joining the club this summer - but Marseille are willing to cash in on him next year.
The diminutive Frenchman was wanted by Arsene Wenger to add some creativity to his attack and it was thought that Marseille were open to selling.
Wenger is desperate to add more players to his squad in the coming days following a string of departures this summer.
And Wenger was keen on Valbuena, the 26-year-old midfielder who has been at Marseille since 2006.
He's been knocked back, though, as Marseille manager Didier Deschamps is keen to keep Valbuena for one more season.
Marseille won't stand in his way if he wants to move next summer, however. The club are working on the premise that Valbuena will star at Euro 2012 and they will then be able to start an auction for him.
