Forfar Athletic vs Stenhousemuir preview - McHugh poised for Loons bow
Posted Saturday, August 20, 2011 by PA
Forfar look set to give a debut to goalkeeper Adam McHugh against Stenhousemuir at Station Park after the youngster was signed on loan from St Mirren.
Everyone in the Loons squad is available to manager Dick Campbell, who remains upbeat despite having only secured one point from his side's opening two league games.
Campbell said: "We are playing well so there is not much to be unhappy about. If we keep doing what we are doing we will get the breaks that have been going against us and then results will come. I am sure of that.
"Stenhousemuir have a very experienced squad but, as I have been telling my players all week, it is more about what we do than anything else."
Stenhousemuir welcome fit-again goalkeeper Ally Brown and centre-back Ross McMillan into their squad for the match.
The Warriors have also added striker Shaun Fraser on loan from Partick, leaving young attacking midfielder Grant Plenderleith as their only absentee as he continues to serve a suspension picked up while on loan at Bo'ness Juniors last season.
The Ochilview men are looking to add to their victory over Arbroath last week by taking full points from their hosts.
Assistant manager Kevin McGoldrick said: "We were worthy winners last weekend and if we can take that form into this game we will do okay.
"Forfar will be tough opponents and no doubt Dick Campbell will have them fired up after losing last Saturday."
