Dumbarton are able to include recently-signed striker David Winters in their squad against Stirling.

Winters has now received international clearance following his move from previous club in Vietnam.

Martin McBride remains out with a ban and Ryan Borris is out with a groin problem. However, James Creaney and Martin McNiff are available to manager Alan Adamson.

The Sons boss is looking for an improvement following a flat performance in the 2-0 defeat from Berwick in midweek that ended his side's interest in the Ramsdens Cup.

He said: "For some reason we simply never got going in that game and even when we went a goal down we remained flat.

"We only had three players that were with us last season playing against Berwick and that might have affected us so I will be looking into that."

Stirling look set to be without midfield duo Shaun Fagan and Daly McSorley as they try to make it six points out of six.

Albion got their season off to a flier last week by defeating East Fife, however defensive frailties were evident as they lost 5-0 to Livingston in their Ramsdens Cup tie in midweek.

Manager Jocky Scott said: "It would be great to repeat the win we secured last Saturday, however we need to be a lot better than we were at the back in midweek.

"I am expecting a really tough game as Dumbarton have had a couple of disappointments and will be out to win the three points just as much as we are."
