Saint-Etienne signs midfielder Fabien Lemoine

SAINT-ETIENNE, France (AP)—Saint-Etienne has signed midfielder Fabien Lemoine from Rennes on a four-year deal.
Saint-Etienne announced the signing on its website, without giving any financial details.
The 24-year-old Lemoine played more than 100 league games for Rennes, scoring once.
Saint-Etienne has been active in the transfer market this season, signing former Liverpool forward Florent Sinama-Pongolle, former Sunderland and Tottenham midfielder Steed Malbranque, and goalkeeper Stephane Ruffier.
Saint-Etienne started its league campaign with a 2-1 win at Bordeaux last Sunday.
