Juventus step up bid for Alex

JUVENTUS are ready to increase their opening offer of £7million for Chelsea central defender Alex.

The Blues want £10.5m for the Brazilian, 29, who is ready to leave the London club.

Stamford Bridge boss Andre Villas-Boas has already turned down the option of a loan move.
