Arsene Wenger: I can understand the impatience of Arsenal fans

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has moved to empathize with fans of the club, saying he shares their frustration at the lack of transfer market movement.
Talking to Arsenal Player, Wenger spoke of how the Gunners are working round the clock to bring in new players, but says any prospective additions to the squad must fit in with his – and Arsenal’s – philosophy.
He said: "We work very hard, we are non-stop working throughout the summer. I am positive because we have good quality and a style of play that is known by the players. So we want to add not quality but super quality."
This summer has seen both Gervinho and Carl Jenkinson arrive at the Emirates as Arsenal sets about trying to improve its squad to push on from last season.
The Gunners’ boss was keen to point out, however, that the transfer market has become tougher than ever to operate in this summer and that several issues were blocking Arsenal’s movement.
"Ideally I would have finished all [our transfer dealings by now] but it doesn't work like that," he continued.
"You have to identify the players, agree with clubs to get them out, agree the fee. That means they have to agree with you and they have to find another player before they release their players."
"It's all kinds of things you meet during the transfer market. But I can understand the impatience of people."
