Funnyman Will Ferrell saw the Italian's shoddy backheel from his front row seat at the LA Galaxy v Manchester City match.
The Blades Of Glory star will be thinking Mario could be the inspiration behind another comedy.
However, the majority of the Hollywood A-listers were there to see David Beckham in action.
