EVERTON are seriously considering a bid for unwanted Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner.

The Dane, 23, did not figure in any pre-season trips and was left behind in London to sort out his future.

German Bundesliga clubs Hamburg and Borussia Dortmund have also gone public with their interest in the hitman. Lille are making a late bid to land Liverpool striker Milan Jovanovic after he opened talks with Anderlecht.

Jovanovic, 30, has been told he can leave Anfield just one year into a three-year deal but his £60,000-a-week wages had made it tricky to find a new club.

Now though the Serbian is close to agreeing a pay-off from Liverpool and is in negotiations with Anderlecht.

But that has alerted Lille and the French side are trying to broker a deal.
