Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has denied reports Cesc Fabergas is moving closer to rejoining former club to Barcelona; insisting there has been "no movement".
Goal.com revealed on Friday that the Gunners are poised to begin serious negotiations next week with the European champions while Fabregas has been left out of the club's traning tour of Germany.
Wenger told the club's official website: "The position at the moment [with Fabregas] is a 'no comment' situation because there is no movement at all."
Wenger also faces the possibility of losing Fabregas' midfield compatriot Samir Nasri, who has been linked with a move to Manchester City, and admitted he was less than confident of keeping the Frenchman.
"[It is] not completely [sorted that Samir will stay], but I want him to stay. He knows that. Hopefully we can sort that out in the coming weeks," he added.
Two other players linked with moves away from the Emirates are out-of-favor duo Manuel Almunia and Nicklas Bendtner and Wenger added that the pair look to be on their way out.
"Almunia has been contacted by a few clubs, Bendtner as well. As long as the situation is not settled, we have to focus on the coming season with the players we have.
