Linfield crash out of Champions League

Linfield were eliminated from the Champions League in the second qualifying round after a 2-0 defeat to Belarusian outfit BATE Borisov.
The Northern Ireland Premier League holders travelled to Borisov having drawn the first leg 1-1, but goals from Pavel Nekhaichik and Aleksandr Pavlov in three second-half minutes proved decisive.
The victory sees BATE set up a third-round clash with FK Ekranas of Lithuania.
