Inter coach Gian Piero Gasperini promises to attack and dreams of Champions League glory

The ex-Genoa man succeeded outgoing coach Leonardo, and is keen to bring the 2009-10 European champions back to their former glory.
“I dream of the Champions League, although at this moment Serie A is also very important," the 53-year-old told the outfit's official television channel.
The former Juventus youth team coach has adopted a 3-4-3 formation throughout his managerial career, which promises to see his side causing their opponents problems.
“I aim to bring the style of football that served me well at Genoa. That means a solid defense and an attack that works well."
“My football has always been very attacking and I’d like to bring my ideas to Inter too, seeing as they always brought good results."
Inter relinquished its European and Scudetto crowns to Barcelona and rivals AC Milan in 2010-11.
"We play with three at the back when our opponents have two strikers. If the other team has a trident, then we have a four-man defense.
“This whole issue about the 3-4-3 is a cliche, as everyone in the squad will be able to play in at least two positions," Gasperini concluded.
