• Chile top Group C thanks to injury-time winner
Josepmir Ballón and Chile's Gonzalo Fierro compete for the ball during their Group C match in the Copa América.
Chile emerged as winners of Group C in the Copa América thanks to an injury-time winner against Peru in a bad-tempered game in Mendoza.
The Peru midfielder, André Carrillo, deflected into his own net two minutes into stoppage time as Peru struggled to defend a corner.
Chile finish the group with seven points which means they have avoided hosts Argentina in the quarter finals.
Peru are also guaranteed a spot in the last eight but whether they finish second or third depends on the result between Uruguay and Mexico.
With qualification assured both sides rested several regular starters at the Estadio Malvinas Argentinas.
The teams were reduced to 10 men from the 62nd minute when Chile's Jean Beausejour and Peru's Giancarlo Carmona were shown straight red cards following an altercation
