CHARLIE ADAM gave Kenny Dalglish a public vote of thanks for saving his Anfield dream.
Adam, 25, finally joined Liverpool last week in a £9million deal after seeing a move from Blackpool fall through in January.
The Scot, 25, makes his debut against Guangdong in China tomorrow as the club kick-off their pre-season tour.
He said: "It was tough in January. I respected Blackpool's decision at the time but I have now been able to join a wonderful club and I'd like to thank the manager for bringing me here."
Dalglish insisted Pepe Reina and Steven Gerrard will both be fit for the season-opener against Sunderland on August 13.
Gerrard is recovering from groin surgery while keeper Reina had a double hernia operation.
Dalglish said: "Steven has made a fantastic recovery."
