Hodson is set to offer Owen a chance at West Brom

ROY HODGSON is ready to offer Owen Hargreaves a shock chance to stay in the Premier League.
West Brom boss Hodgson is busy planning for next season and wants to open talks with the free agent over a pay-as-you-play deal.
Hargreaves, 30, is seeking a new club after Manchester United released him at the end of last season following long spells on the sidelines with knee problems.
In four years at Old Trafford he made just 27 first-team appearances.
But the Baggies are keen to give him another crack at the top flight, with Hodgson hoping to hold talks with the midfielder this week.
Albion flew out to California yesterday for their pre-season training camp and could meet Hargreaves in the States.
Leicester chief Sven Goran Eriksson has already admitted he is also considering an offer for the former England international, who collected 42 caps.
Hargreaves posted clips of himself working out on YouTube last week in a bid to prove his fitness and attract potential new employers.
DAVID BECKHAM is set to face Manchester United this month.
The LA Galaxy star, who became a father for the fourth time yesterday, has been voted on to the MLS All-Stars team to play his former club on July 27.
He will be joined by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, 33.
