But one could hardly blame him for wanting to keep Irina close.

Since dating Ronaldo, curvy Irina has landed a string of lucrative advertising deals and posed for the prestigious cover of Sports Illustrated magazine.

Ronaldo's form shows no sign of slacking during the summer either.

While some footballers reach for the booze and fags during the holidays, Ronaldo still looked super-ripped as he strolled along the beach.

The only surprise was that his shorts were much baggier than we're used to.
