CHELSEA can win a Premier League and Champions League double this season - insists Ashley Cole.

The Blues stars will meet new boss Andre Villas-Boas when they start training this week and Cole has vowed to make up for last season's disappointments.

Chelsea were runners-up to Manchester United and also knocked out of the Champions League by Alex Ferguson's men.

But Cole is adamant Chelsea will rise again under Villas-Boas.

He said: "I don't think we're becoming detached from United and Barca are beatable. I went to the Champions League final and thought United could win.

"The way Barca played was unbelievable, like a machine, and you can see why people think they're unbeatable.

"But we should have beaten them in the semis two years ago when we had three penalties turned down.
