Colombia beat Senegal in football friendly

MEDELLIN, Colombia (AFP) - Colombia beat Senegal 2-0 here on Saturday in a final preparation match for the Copa America which gets underway on Friday in Argentina.

Goals from Abel Aguilar after 16 minutes and Jackson Martinez after 41 minutes were enough to see the home side through with a comfortable victory.

Colombia have been drawn in the same group as hosts Argentina, Bolivia and Costa Rica for the Copa America which runs from July 1-24. They open with a game against Costa Rica in Jujuy on Saturday.
