Agent: Malaga has made a bid for Inter's Lucio

Cash-rich La Liga side Malaga has made a bid for Inter defender Lucio, according to his agent Sandro Becker, who left the door open to a move away from the Giuseppe Meazza for the 33-year old.

Malaga is eyeing the Brazilian international as its next summer signing, having already enticed Dutch duo Joris Mathijsen and Ruud van Nistelrooy to the club from Hamburg, as well as clinching the signing of Lyon midfielder Jeremy Toulalan.

"We received an offer from Malaga, which everyone is aware of. Lucio wants to play at a high level in a top European league," he was quoted as saying by Goal.com Italy.

Becker admitted that the former Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich man has no shortage of suitors but that any potential transfer would have to wait.

"He is a great player and there are so many big clubs who are interested in him. For now I am doing everything I can and I will show him what the situation is after the Copa America."

Lucio, who was surprisingly allowed to leave Bayern by coach Louis van Gaal in 2009, was a regular starter at the heart of Inter's defence last season, making 31 appearances in Serie A.
