"He knows it's completely false and if he had anything about him, he'd stand up and admit it.
"Imogen isn't able to defend herself because the law won't let her talk about him. It's ludicrous.
"She keeps saying, 'Dad, I just want my day in court, my chance to tell the world I'm not a blackmailer'."
Charles, who had a triple heart bypass last year, said Imogen tried to protect him by keeping her lover a secret before Giggs was named in Parliament.
