Inter Milan vs Catania preview - Simeone gunning for old club

Catania boss Diego Simeone is backing his side to sign off their Serie A campaign in style with a win at Inter Milan.
It will be true end-of-season stuff at the San Siro as neither team as anything to play for, with Catania mired in mid-table and their hosts certain of finishing second.
Indeed, with Inter having a Coppa Italia final against Palermo on the horizon next weekend, the Milan side may have their minds on other things.
For Simeone, who played for Inter between 1997 and 1999, it is a chance to prove a point with his side.
"We're going to San Siro with confidence," he told www.calciocatania.it. "We hope to do well against Inter.
"Our performances in this league have demonstrated that, in football, commitment pays.
"Together our team have done a great job."
He added on www.siciliatoday.net: "I remember lots of great battles at the San Siro with Inter, but my mind is on Catania.
"The championship is not over yet and all our attention is focused on the match in Milan.
"I think the we showed the sort of football we can play last Sunday against Roma; now I want my players to confirm that against Inter."
Inter will rest a number of players with the cup final in mind.
Goalkeeper Julio Cesar, who has been suffering from a minor back problem, will not be risked, but should be available to face Palermo.
Wesley Sneijder, meanwhile, continues to suffer from a calf injury and his final place is far from certain.
