Deportivo La Coruna vs Valencia preview - Aranzubia ready for crunch clash

Deportivo La Coruna goalkeeper Daniel Aranzubia has labelled the Primera Division game against Valencia as one of the biggest in the club's history.

Depor head into the final match of the season just one point above the relegation zone, knowing a win against Los Che would guarantee top-flight football next term.

Arzanzubia believes staying in La Liga is just as important to the club as winning the league was back in 2000.

He told the club's website: "I am sure this is one of the most important games in the history of the club.

"There have been more beautiful games because Depor has played in the semi-finals of the Champions League, cup finals and games to win the league but none of those are more important than this one.

"In this match we are not going to win any title, but what we all want is so important. We all want to stay in this division."

Depor coach Miguel Angel Lotina is expected to revert back to the 4-3-3 system that produced good results against Sporting Gijon and Athletic Bilbao in recent weeks.

Andres Guardado and Juan Rodriguez will return to the starting line-up after a more defensive selection came away from Barcelona with a goalless draw against the champions last weekend.

Midfielder Michel is also available as Depor confirmed earlier this week that his loan agreement from Valencia contains no clause barring him from playing against his parent club.

Valencia have already secured third place and Champions League football next season.

Coach Unai Emery began negotiations with the club over a new deal this week while president Manuel Llorente also confirmed Los Che had bolstered their goalkeeping options for next season by signing Diego Alves from Almeria and renewing Vicente Guaita's contract.
