Posted Saturday, May 07, 2011 by PA
Alloa needed a win to guarantee their safety but went down 3-1 to Livingston.
Kenneth Jacobs made up for an early miss by slotting home Raffaele De Vita's cross into the bottom corner to give Livingston the lead.
Alloa dragged themselves back into the game in spectacular fashion as Michael Dunlop rifled in a volley from the edge of the area.
A Brilliant save from Livingston Keeper Darrenn Jamieson kept the scores level as he kept out Michael McGowan's effort.
Livingston regained the lead when De Vita capped off a great afternoon with a 25-yard strike.
Livingston then wrapped up the points as Mark McNulty worked his way down the left and laid the ball off for Iain Russell, who powered home a volley from 20 yards.
The result means that Alloa will go into the relegation play-off.
