Ross County 3 : 0 Cowdenbeath - County leave it late to wrap up points

Ross County earned their third win in a row as they beat struggling Cowdenbeath 3-0.

Michael Gardyne went close for the hosts with a 12th-minute shot which bounced back off the post.

The visitors responded positively and almost broke the deadlock when midfielder Marc McKenzie drilled in a long-range effort which Michael McGovern tipped round the post.

But it was County who forged ahead in the 32nd minute when defender Scott Morrison powered in a shot from 20 yards out which gave Ludovic Roy no chance.

Scott Boyd's bullet header made it two in the 83rd minute before substitute Mark Corcoran wrapped up the win with a powerful close-range effort in the final minute.
