McMenamin went from provider to scorer in the 24th minute when he latched onto a loose ball inside the penalty area and lashed home a low right-footed shot from 12 yards.

The hosts were largely dominant and they claimed their third in the 61st minute when Paul Burns headed home a right-wing cross from Robert Harris.

Stephen McKenna went close to adding a fourth with a stunning 35-yard strike that whistled narrowly wide.
