Partick Thistle vs Raith Rovers preview - Thistle short of bodies
Posted Saturday, May 07, 2011 by PA
Partick are still short of numbers as they prepare to host Raith.
Interim boss Jackie McNamara is without Paul Paton, Colin Stevenson, Ryan MacBeth, John Robertson and Bryan Hodge, who are all in the treatment room.
Defender Willie Kinniburgh serves the ban he received for being sent off against Dundee last weekend.
McNamara's assistant Simon Donnelly could feature after playing in a reserve game during the week and midfielder David Rowson is back after suspension, although a family bereavement may see him miss the game.
McNamara said: "We have the chance to end the season on a high and we are determined to take it. Raith will be out to prove a point after losing last weekend so we need to be prepared for that."
Runners-up Raith travel to Partick with manager John McGlynn unable to call upon the services of three players.
Defender Dougie Hill and striker Gary Wales are out injured while midfielder Allan Walker is suspended.
But winger Scott McBride and forward Graham Weir are expected to shake off knocks to be included.
McGlynn said: "We have lost our last two games and we do not want to make that three.
"We want to end the season on a high but we will need to play well to do so as I am sure Thistle want the same thing."
