Forfar manager Dick Campbell welcomes back Iain Campbell from suspension as the Loons look to move up into second place by defeating hosts Dumbarton.
Powerful striker Chris Templeman remains unavailable due to a ban of his own while goalkeeper Scott Gallacher is still out through injury, leaving teenager Neil Duffy again between the sticks.
Defender David Mowat returns into the fold having been unavailable for last weekend`s 2-1 win over Peterhead.
Station Park assistant manager Ian Campbell said: "Dumbarton have had a great second half to the season and deserve great credit for that. We will look to get that win and hopefully sneak into second spot.
"We won down there the last time we played but to be honest we were a bit lucky that night so we know that we will need to play well to take anything."
Dumbarton entertain third-placed Forfar knowing their place in the Second Division is secure.
Midfielder Ryan McStay is unavailable through suspension with Craig McLeish again ruled out due to injury.
Teenage starlet Nicky Devlin returns from a ban to play his final game at full-back before moving to the Scottish Premier League with Motherwell.
Manager Alan Adamson said: "While we can finally relax and not have to worry about being involved in relegation we still want to beat Forfar as we have been really unlucky against them this season.
"I want the players and the fans to enjoy the game as avoiding relegation and the play-offs is a fantastic achievement when you consider where we were at the end of the first quarter of games."
