Richard Dunne and Emile Heskey could feature in this weekend’s Barclays Premier League clash against Wigan, according to assistant manager Gary McAllister. Dunne was forced off with a dead leg in Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at West Brom, while Heskey missed the match at the Hawthorns with a knee injury. The duo have now resumed training and could be joined in the Villa squad by Jean Makoun, who has been suffering with a thigh complaint. “Both Richard Dunne and Emile Heskey trained with the team on Tuesday so they are fine and better,” McAllister told the club’s official website. Jean Makoun worked with the physio and we’ll know more about him on Thursday or Friday but there is every chance of it being positive and that he will be available for the game against Wigan also.”
