Lopez agent admits Argentine striker could make Premier League move

Manchester United and Birmingham target Maxi Lopez could be heading to the Premier League this summer.

The former Barcelona striker, a Champions League winner in 2006, is currently on the books of Serie A side Catania but has been linked with a move away from the Sicily based club at the end of the season.

Lazio are one of the clubs rumoured to be after the 27-year-old's signature, while he was linked with both United and Birmingham last year and his agent Dario Bombini claims the player could make a move to England.

"His future? It is in Italy or the Premier League," Bombini told Italian website ItaSportPress. "In the coming days I will be in Catania for talks. We have to find a solution that satisfies my client and Catania."
