Forfar vs Peterhead preview - Quartet absent for both sides

I have a say

Play-off bound Forfar will be without at least four players against relegated Peterhead.

Iain Campbell and Chris Templeman are suspended, David Mowatt is unavailable and on-loan Rangers goalkeeper Scott Gallacher is injured.

Assistant manager Ian Campbell will be in charge as boss Dick Campbell is scouting new players, and he reckons that the Blue Toon will be very tough opponents despite heading for Division Three.

"Peterhead have nothing to lose and a new manager to impress so we have to be at our best. We want the three points as our aim is to finish second in the table," said Campbell.

Peterhead will also be without four players at Station Park.

Daniel Moore, Stirling Smith, Connor Gethins and Martin Bavidge are the absentees, with recently-appointed manager John Sheran already turning his thoughts to next season.

"We are down to the bare bones again but the team I have in mind has players playing in their natural positions for the first time since I came here," said Sheran.

"We started thinking about next season last Saturday afternoon and what I see in this game will help me in my plans."

He added: "Forfar have been going well recently but I want Peterhead to go out and take the game to them. We do not want to go out of Division Two on a low note."
