Barcelona has confirmed Adriano has been ruled out for at least a month, meaning he will miss both legs of its Champions League semifinal tie against Real Madrid.
The 26-year-old Brazilian came off during extra time in the 1-0 Copa del Rey final defeat against Madrid in Valencia on Wednesday night, and the Catalan outfit have confirmed the extent of his problem.
A statement on the club's official website reads:
"The loss at the Mestalla has been accompanied with some bad news: the injury to Adriano Correia, who will be out for four weeks with injury. Tests this morning have confirmed he has suffered an injury to his right adductor muscle."
It means Adriano could be back in time for the Champions League final on May 28 if his side get to Wembley.
Barca meets Osasuna in la Liga on Saturday; it leads second-placed Madrid by eight points in the standings.
