Livingston 0 : 0 Ayr Utd. - Livi league run goes on
Posted Saturday, April 16, 2011 by PA
Division Two champions Livingston extended their unbeaten league run to 10 games despite playing almost an hour of the 0-0 draw against Ayr with 10 men.
Livi's 21-goal top-scorer was dismissed in the 36th minute of an otherwise incident-free first half following a heavy challenge on Ayr midfielder Alan Trouten.
Ayr created the better of the chances and Michael Moffatt was guilty of missing the best chance of the game when he fired a close-range effort over the bar in the 62nd minute following Trouten's inswinging corner.
Livi suffered further problems in the 90th minute when defender Paul Watson left the field on a stretcher after suffering a nasty looking injury.
