Partick Thistle 1 : 1 Ross County - McNamara begins with point

Jackie McNamara's first game as Partick's caretaker manager ended in a 1-1 home draw with relegation-threatened Ross County.
McNamara, who was appointed until the end of the season on Friday after Ian McCall's resignation, saw his reign start perfectly when Kris Doolan gave Thistle a fourth-minute lead, converting a penalty following Steven Craig's handball.
The advantage lasted until eight minutes before half-time as County's Paul Lawson equalised with a stunning 20-yard free-kick.
Partick were nearly back in front three minutes later when Jamie Campbell's long-range effort struck a post.
County struck the woodwork themselves after 68 minutes, Scott Boyd nodding against the bar, before Doolan came close to winning it for Thistle when his close-range header was saved by goalkeeper Michael McGovern.
