Cowdenbeath's player assistant manager Colin Cameron is fit again but is unlikely to start against Falkirk due to the fine form of the Central Park side.

Goalkeeper David Hay remains sidelined along with defenders Bob Malcolm, Joe Mbu and John Anderson as Jimmy Nicholl's side look to grab another win in their bid to escape relegation.

Nicholl said: "The boys have done brilliantly recently and it would be hard to change a side that is doing so well.

"Guys like Colin and Archie Campbell are available but it would be unfair on others if they went straight back into the team.

"We took a point from Falkirk in our last game with them and almost beat Raith Rovers last week so we can approach this game with confidence."

Falkirk have defender Brian McLean available after a two-game ban.

Left-back Marc Twaddle drops out through suspension with winger Jack Compton unlikely to feature as Bairns boss Steven Pressley is dissatisfied with the player's recent efforts.

Pressley said: "We bounced back in midweek with a win against Partick Thistle in a side that contained seven players from the Falkirk Youth Academy and that bodes well for the future of the club.

"This is a hugely important game and we have to build on the result from the Thistle game and get another three points. All we can do is win and hope that other things fall into place."
