Forfar are missing Iain Campbell through suspension for the home clash with Alloa.
On-loan St Mirren striker Paul McQuade is also absent through injury but the fit-again Stephen Tulloch is added to the squad.
Barry Sellars is expected to feature after shaking off the flu and interim boss Ian Campbell said, "This is a game we are very much looking forward to after playing so well in midweek against Stenhousemuir.
"We want to put together a consistent run of performances together to secure our play-off position and then go into them in good shape.
"It will be hard as Allan Maitland will have Alloa fighting for everything to get the points they need but our recent record against them is good and we want that to continue."
Alloa boss Allan Maitland has defender Michael Dunlop available after food poisoning.
Midfielder Brown Ferguson and striker Bryan Prunty also come into contention after recovering injury, but youngsters Jason Thomson and Ross Philp remain sidelined through injury.
The versatile Mark Brown is also with a groin problem but Maitland is ready for the challenge ahead.
He said: "We have been badly hit by injuries but we are in a far better shape now than we have been and three points is our aim."
