Partick Thistle 1 : 2 Falkirk - Vital win for Bairns

Falkirk kept their slim promotion hopes alive as they gained revenge on Partick by beating them 2-1 at the Firhill Stadium.
Thistle, who secured a 3-2 win over the Bairns on Saturday, came closest to breaking the deadlock in the first half when Chris Erskine's 20-yard piledriver smashed against the crossbar and Patrick Boyle headed the rebound over.
However, it was the away side who took the lead after 64 minutes with Ryan Flynn feeding Blair Alston who made no mistake from 12 yards.
Carl Finnigan doubled their advantage three minutes later, nodding home from Kieran Duffie's cross.
William Kinniburgh pulled one back for the Jags in injury time with a close-range finish but it was too little, too late.
