BORN GRINNERS ... Ferdinand and Fergie share a joke yesterday
IT IS a brave man who takes the mickey out of Alex Ferguson.
But when you are a key figure in United's assault on the Treble you can just about get away with it.
The confidence in the United camp is such that Rio Ferdinand was joking with Fergie about his dress sense ahead of tonight's Chelsea tie.
Ferdinand explained how he sought out the boss to tell him he was fit for last week's first leg.
Ferdy said: "I'd gone over to watch the youth game but when I saw the manager's grey puffa jacket I did make a bit of a beeline to him.
"It was just to make sure there were no grey areas and he knew I was definitely feeling right."
Fergie chipped in: "You don't like my puffa jacket do you?"
Ferdinand laughed: "Not really, no. But if it helps you stay on your feet it's all right."
