Partick have increased injury concerns for their second meeting with Falkirk in three days.

Paul Paton, Bryan Hodge, Iain Flannigan and Ryan MacBeth again miss out through injury and Chris Erskine and Jamie Campbell are doubts due to slight hamstring problems.

On a more positive note, Simon Donnelly's back injury has improved and he should return as Partick look to repeat the 3-2 victory they claimed against Steven Pressley's side at the weekend.

Assistant manager Ian Maxwell said: "We played some great football for the opening hour at the weekend but because of our pitch we will be forced to adapt our game for this one.

"We are determined to repeat the win as we are still looking to overtake Falkirk in third place and finish our season on a high."

Falkirk manager Pressley is likely to make changes for the trip.

Mehdi Khalis is expected to drop out with Tam Scobbie in line to return from injury to play.

Fellow centre-back Brian McLean is still banned, while Jack Compton is another absentee with Pressley revealing a knee knock sustained in training on Thursday will keep the winger out.

Pressley said: "Realistically our chances of winning the league are very slim but we will not give up.

"Saturday was extremely disappointing and the first half wasn`t acceptable, but the second half was better where we showed a lot more fight.

"Our desire and mobility needs to be right from the very first whistle."
