Dundee will be without four players as they look to grab a precious win over bottom side Stirling Albion.
Defenders Craig McKeown, Gary Irvine and Rhys Weston are suspended and striker Sean Higgins remains out injured.
Dens Park manager Barry Smith said: "We are down to the bare bones and will have to rely on youth players.
"They can play their part in securing our First Division status as we have not achieved it as yet.
"I always said that we would have to keep on playing until the end of the season to be safe and that has proven to be the case."
Albion have injury worries as they attempt to stave off relegation.
Defenders Scott Buist, Martyn Corrigan and Brian Allison are all doubts, Greig MacDonald remains a long-term absentee and Chris Aitken is suspended.
Boss Jocky Scott, who used to manage the Dark Blues said: "We have faced a must-win situation in the last six to 10 games and fallen short so we hanging by our fingernails now.
"We have a few concerns in the centre of our defence and I know the situation if results do not go our way but we will go out and try and get that victory and take things form there."
