Alloa welcome back David McClune and Darren Smith to the squad to face Airdrie.

The duo are back in contention but Brown Ferguson, Ross Philp, Mark Brown and Bryan Prunty all remain out through knocks as the Wasps look to derail Airdrie's push for promotion.

Defender Mick Dunlop is a doubt after going down with food poisoning.

The Recreation Park side need a win to ease their relegation fears with manager Allan Maitland saying: "I am sure everyone involved with the club is delighted with the effort being put in by the players and we just need to turn that into a win now.

"We battled back twice last week at Dumbarton and that gives us something to build on.

"Airdrie are going really well just now but we have to look to end that."

Airdrie United boss Jimmy Boyle names an unchanged squad.

Full-back Craig Hill continues to miss out through injury but Boyle has no other concerns as the Diamonds look to make it five wins in a row and move into a play-off place.

Boyle said: "The boys are playing with a lot of confidence and if we can keep our winning ways that will be fantastic.

"We are playing some good football and are taking chances when they come our way. Long may that continue.

"It will be difficult at Alloa all the same, as they are battling for points and their manager Allan Maitland will really have them fired up."
