Airdrie 2-1 Brechin - Play-off lift for Airdrie

Airdrie gave their Division Two play-off hopes a boost with a hard-fought 2-1 win at second-placed Brechin.
The Diamonds are now just two points behind Forfar, who occupy the last play-off place.
The visitors took the lead in the 32nd minute when Brechin defender Gerard McLauchlan unfortunately turned the ball past goalkeeper Craig Nelson and into his own net.
David McKenna levelled matters just two minutes after the restart with a calm finish from 12 yards after on-loan Aberdeen striker Mitchel Megginson's initial effort had been blocked by Scott Gemmill.
Airdrie striker Ryan Donnelly wrapped up the points in the 56th minute with a well-struck effort from 20 yards which flew into the bottom corner.
