Ross County moved four points clear of the First Division relegation play-off place with a comfortable 2-0 win at bottom-of-the-table Stirling.
Goals in each half from Iain Vigurs and Jonathan Flynn handed the Staggies a vital three points against the relegation certainties.
Vigurs nodded Marc Fitzpatrick's left-wing cross into the top corner in the 44th minute before Flynn doubled the lead in the 67th minute with a long-range effort which flew into the bottom corner.
Stirling introduced Gordon Smith and Andrew Gibson in an attempt to get back in the game but aside from a few close range efforts, they never really looked like troubling their opponents.
