Partick Thistle 0 : 0 Queen of South - Goalless in Partick

Partick and Queen of the South played out a goalless draw in this First Division mid-table clash.

Partick were looking to gain ground on the Doonhamers, while Queen of the South came in on a run of four wins out of five.

However, a tight game produced few chances. In the first half, Ryan McGuffie had a shot blocked for Queen of the South from 12 yards, and Colin McMenamin struck a shot wide.

Iain Flannigan responded for Partick with a shot over the crossbar from inside the area. And after 36 minutes the same player found Conrad Balatoni in the box with a free-kick but he missed his shot to the right.

After the restart, Partick`s David Rowson had a shot cleared from 12 yards. Then, in the 66th minute Kris Doolan had a shot saved from a Flannigan corner.

In the end, though, neither side could break the deadlock.
