MANCHESTER UNITED stars NANI and ANDERSON are battling it out for the big end-of-season award.

They're favourites to pick up the prize GARY NEVILLE usually wins - the worst-dressed player at Old Trafford.

WAYNE ROONEY, MICHAEL CARRICK and WES BROWN have lifted the lid on their shameful clobber, probably the worst seen since now-retired Nev left training in his dad's old leather jacket and jeans primed for a BON JOVI concert.

Brown said: "Worst dressed has to be Anderson. He comes in wearing slippers and leaves wearing flip-flops."

Rooney chipped in with: "He's got Homer Simpson slippers."

Fellow England star Carrick championed Nani's case, recalling a particular outfit that still gives him nightmares.
