Falkirk stay third despite being held to a goalless draw by second-bottom Cowdenbeath.
Cowdenbeath started the better of the two sides and Greg Stewart had a chance to score but his close-range effort was saved by Robert Olejnik.
Falkirk came closest to breaking the deadlock but Mark Millar struck a 30-yard free-kick against a post a minute after the interval.
David Hay had to parry a Tom McManus shot to safety as the visitors pressed for an opener.
Archie Campbell had a chance to win it for Cowdenbeath late on but he headed wide from six yards as the Blue Brazil recorded their second successive league draw.
The point extends Falkirk`s unbeaten run to four league games.
