Redknapp fury at Rafa strop
RAF LUCK ... Spurs star Rafael van der Vaart shows his frustration at White Hart Lane

HARRY REDKNAPP blasted Rafael van der Vaart for his White Hart Lane strop.
The Dutch midfielder headed straight for the Tottenham dressing room after being subbed for the 18th time this season.

And Spurs boss Redknapp revealed he will give the player a dressing down for his antics.

He said: "I don't like that and I'll be talking to him about it.

"If you're part of a team, you should stay and watch the game.

"He's a good lad and I just made a substitution. Who do you take off? I had Modric, Defoe, Bale, Lennon. I thought he'd given everything today and I just went for a change - it's my right."

Redknapp felt his team deserved more after they were held 0-0 by West Ham.

He said: "I was really pleased with the way we played today.

"The passing was great, we made loads of chances, we just couldn't get the break in front of goal.

"It was one of those matches. But I was well pleased with how we played the game today.

"West Ham defended well but we kept hitting the woodwork today and you need a bit of luck in front of goal."

Hammers manager Avram Grant was pleased to have taken home a point which moves his team out of the bottom three.

He said: "Tottenham are a really good team, especially at home, so I think it was a good result for us.

"My team showed a good spirit. We are scoring lots of goals at the moment but we need to keep clean sheets to stay up and I'm glad we did that today."
