Sampdoria vs Parma preview - Cavasin: We have hope

Sampdoria coach Alberto Cavasin feels the season is just about to begin for his side with 27 points up for grabs between now and the end of the campaign.
The Blucerchiati, who host Parma, have had a disappointing spell so far and are languishing in the wrong half of the table, where they have spent the whole year.
However, Cavasin will not accept his side has already flunked the season and believes there is still a lot to play for.
"I still think a lot can happen," he said. "Nine games are a lot and the signs I am receiving from the team give me reason to hope.
"There are 27 points still available and we need to try and climb up the table."
Cavasin, who replaced sacked Domenico Di Carlo last week, endured a difficult start to life at Samp in Sunday's 1-0 setback at Catania.
The defeat was Samp's third in a row and left them with just one victory in their last 11 matches.
It also saw them slip closer to the relegation zone as they sit 15th, five points clear of the bottom three.
"The team is united and eager to get back on track after several disappointing results," Cavasin said.
"Our aim is to defend our Serie A status as soon as possible.
"We will do everything we can to clinch three points."
Parma, meanwhile, lie 16th, just one point clear of the relegation zone.
The Ducale club lost 3-1 to Napoli in the last round and seek their first win on the road this weekend since beating Juventus 4-1 on January 6.
"We are going to Genoa determined to get a result away from home," said Parma striker Rafaelle Palladino.
"To get wins at Sampdoria and against Bari would put us in a very strong position to defend our Serie A status.
"We are still above the drop zone and we will look to extend our advantage with respect to the bottom three in our next games."
